Formal Letter AI

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 September 2026

Formal Letter AI ("the Service") is a free web app that uses AI to draft formal letters, petitions and official documents. This page explains what data the Service handles.

What you enter

The details you type into the form (names, addresses, subject, description, and your choices of document type, language and country) are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate your document. We do not require an account, and we do not store the content of your form or the generated document on our servers. Google processes the request under its own terms; see the Gemini API Terms and Google Privacy Policy.

Server logs

The Service is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as your IP address and browser user-agent) to deliver the site, prevent abuse and apply rate limits. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Browser storage

The Service stores your chosen interface language in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. This never leaves your device.

Advertising

The Service may display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted. You can review and control this at Google My Ad Center and How Google uses cookies in advertising. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent choice before personalised ads are served.

Your choices

You can use the Service without providing any personal identifiers beyond what you choose to type. You can clear the language preference by clearing your browser's site data. For ad settings, use the Google links above.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
